RCBT 4th October 2013 Club Meeting

Guest Speaker Eric Watts – who will talk to us about the Spotlight Radiotherapy Appeal to fund ultra-precise, state-of-the-art radiotherapy positioning devices which provide set-up and motion management during radiotherapy.

He is supporting the Spotlight appeal, as the new equipment will mean a better experience for patients i.e. less uncomfortable; it will also be quicker improving efficiency and shortening waiting times.

Eric had radiotherapy twice at 12 & 14  years old and remembers it well as being both scary and very uncomfortable.
