Headway Essex
Members recently visited Headway Essex at their new South Essex day centre in Benfleet. They saw the facility in action and presented a plaque for the accessible planting trugs purchased with a donation from the Club . President Kevin Smith also tried out one of the special chairs we funded. All of us of were very impressed by the work Headway Essex are doing to support people with acquired brain injury.
The Mill Meadows Society
Members assisted The Mill Meadows Society in planting 200 plants to create a native hedge around Brick Fields pond within the Mill Meadows SSSI.
