RCBT 2nd October 2024 Club Meeting

Guest Speaker: Martin Walshe – Chartered Civil Engineer.

Martin is a volunteer speaker for WaterAid, helping to promote their work and the need for action to provide safe water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) to everyone, most particularly where the need is greatest.
The lack of safe water – for drinking, cooking, cleaning, handwashing – is the most common and preventable underlying cause of disease and death in the world.
Martin has spent all of his adult life working on different aspects of of water and sanitation provision, in many countries including the UK, Iran, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Australia.
